When the Navy sprint football team stepped on to the field vs. Penn last Friday, it did so with three (3) IC Catholic Prep alumni (League of Knights). In addition, former and current school leadership were in attendance at the home game in Annapolis, Maryland, including Pamela M. Levar, Tom Schergen and Jack Doyle.
Pat Guinan ’16, Jimmy Kenneally ’17 and Ryan Kenneally ’19 all played football together at IC Catholic Prep and continue their careers at Navy. The reunion was a joyous occasion for all made even more joyous as Navy posted a 16-7 over Penn to claim the Collegiate Sprint Football League South Division title for the second consecutive season. With the win and an Alderson Broaddus loss, the Mids advance to the CSFL Championship game in back-to-back seasons (source).
