Boys Soccer Comes to an End, Knight Times

ICCP Homecoming 2019 - Boys Soccer

This years Boys Soccer team really made an improvement from the past 5 years in all of ICCP boys soccer history. This was a great year considering boys soccer became the conference champions compared to last year’s 2 game winning record overall. We hope to make an even bigger improvement next year with our freshman class and new coach this year, Coach Miguel Garcia.

It was sad to see the team end the year in the finals with a tough loss when they were up 1-0 at half time and lose 2-1 at the end of the game. The soccer team boys showed a lot of effort and improvement this year and made positive changes in the past two years.

This year’s coach was a big part of why the team did so well this year. He started this summer camp over the summer because the purpose of it was to help the kids get to know each other and learn to play with them for the fall season. This is one of the biggest improvements we had of boys soccer.

Our new Athletic Director, Mr. Michael Fahey, was very proud of this group of boys and their coach for making this year so memorable to this school and winning conference. We hope we can do this for every year going forward and maybe even winning state or at least and getting further ahead in the finals
