As a school community, we have been closely monitoring the news and best practices regarding the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Following guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Diocese of Joliet, IC Catholic Prep is closed immediately.
Our buildings and facilities will not be accessible, all events and extra-curricular activities are cancelled starting today, Friday, March 13, until further notice.
TODAY, we asked students to take home all books and materials prior to leaving the building.
However, due to the sudden closure students will be given a three (3) hour window on Monday, March 16, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm to gather their books and materials.
Specific information will be communicated on our website, Google Classroom, Plus Portals and email regarding our e-learning, which will begin rolling out on Monday, March 16, with a short assignment.
The first official e-Learning day is Tuesday, March 17.
Our goal is to communicate openly and frequently with our students and parents.
