Francesca received acceptances from Saint Mary’s College, University of Dayton, Indiana University, and Xavier University as well as scholarships and other financial assistance.

In her four years at IC Catholic Prep, Francesca participated in numerous extracurricular activities, including leadership roles as the President of the Business Professionals of America, the Editor for the Knights Times school newspaper, a leader in the Knights of the Roundtable (KORT), and a Publicist and Officer of the National Honor Society. She was active on the Volleyball Team, the Liturgical Ministry, and the Spanish Honor Society.

She came to IC Catholic Prep from Immaculate Conception Grade School.

Francesca is a 2020 Illinois State Scholar. She notes that it would be nearly impossible to focus on just one memory of high school because she experienced so much during her time at IC Catholic Prep. She offers up a few of her most memorable experiences.

  1. Student Life: “Junior retreat was incredible because we all formed a tight bond as a class while having a lot of fun.”
  2. Academics: “Time spent in AP Chemistry where the subject matter was very challenging, yet, being a part of a small learning class environment made the instruction extra personal and approachable.
  3. Athletics: “I learned a lot about discipline and determination during my four years on the Volleyball team. I will always value the friendships and bonds formed with my teammates and coaches.”
