Principal Dispatch—Health & Safety

This week began our third week of the new school year. I am pleased to report that our teachers and students are getting into the swing of things and have fully implemented our Full Day Blended Learning schedule. Students at-home and in-person are engaged in rigorous, college preparatory courses through group work, class discussion, online applications, and hands-on learning. Visit us on social media to see all the great things happening in our classes.

Health and Safety Protocols
With Labor Day Weekend fast approaching, I want to reiterate the need for us all to remember our personal responsibilities to each other and to keeping ICCP open for in-person instruction.

Please have a safe, healthy, and restful holiday but please practice good social distancing, hand hygiene, avoid large crowds, and wear a face mask when necessary.

On August 20th, we updated our plan with new ISBE guidelines for managing student/staff illness. As the change of season occurs and colds, flu, and illness increase, we encourage you to read these guidelines contained on page 15 of the School Re-Opening Plan to help keep everyone safe.
