Guiding Principles
IC Catholic Prep's Commitment
In preparation for the 2020-21 academic school year, IC Catholic Prep engaged in an extensive scenario planning process with a committee of stakeholders, including teachers, parents, board members, and students. As the result of our planning, IC Catholic Prep is committed to welcoming our students back for the 2020-21 school year, both in-person and remotely.
Returning Safely Following Health Agency Guidelines
- The educational environment will prioritize the safety and the well-being of the community, and be a prudent balance that considers questions of physical, spiritual, social-emotional, and academic health.
- We recognize that some members of our community are at increased risk for COVID-19, and we are particularly empathetic to all affected. To that end, we have planned to ensure that they will receive the same educational opportunities at home as they would in the classroom.
- Our plan is grounded in national, state, and local guidelines and takes into account the reality of local/regional conditions.
- Our plan is flexible and takes into consideration that local situations evolve and guidelines from health agencies change.
