Dear ICCP families,
I hope that you are healthy and that your families find time to rest and recharge this summer.
Once again, I want to express my gratitude for the resilience demonstrated by our teachers, counselors, coaches, parents, and students over these past months. During these unprecedented and difficult times, we place our faith in God and rely on our family and friends more than ever. These challenges strengthen our resolve to develop the spirit, mind, and body of each of our students and persevere “through this together” with the knowledge and hope of greater things to come in the future.
This summer, IC Catholic Prep has engaged in extensive scenario planning with a committee of stakeholders including teachers, parents, board members, and students. I thank them for their dedication to our students and the mission of our school.
Our plan will establish clear health and safety protocols to meet the educational, spiritual, physical, social, and emotional needs of our students in keeping with the guidelines provided by the CDC, IDPH, ISBE, and IHSA. Appropriate social distancing, face coverings, enhanced sanitation measures, and other accommodations will be put in place at IC Catholic Prep to ensure the safety of students, staff, and our families.
IDPH guidelines require the following:
- The use of proper face masks;
- A limit of 50 individuals in one common indoor area;
- Social distancing be observed, as much as possible;
- Temperature checks and individuals to self-certify that they are free of symptoms before entering school buildings; and,
- An increase in schoolwide cleaning and disinfection.
Further details will be shared in my Principal Dispatch next week regarding the start of the year and schedules.

Thank You for Giving Like a Knight
On behalf of IC Catholic Prep, I want to express our gratitude for your generosity during our first-ever Day of Giving: Knights Knockout. Together, we raised nearly $28,000 toward tuition assistance. Please consider donating and helping us respond to a greater need due to the pandemic’s economic impact on some of our families. Give online today.
May Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception continue to guide and protect you.
Sincerely,
Stephen Davidson
